Once described as "the old tooth" and slated for demolition, the renovated Old Post Building now offers a spectacular view of the nation's capital from atop its 315-foot clock tower. Tours begin approximately every five minutes from the glass elevator at the northwest corner of the stage level of the Pavilion.

The Pavilion houses over 50 shops, restaurants and a performing arts center.

The observatory is open daily, October to mid-April from 10:00 am to 5:45 pm, mid-April to September from 8:00 am to 10:45 pm, closed Thursday 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. For more information call (202) 606-8691
