Senator Feinstein meets with Kevin Ryan who on May 15, 2002 was nominated by President George W. Bush to serve as the United States Attorney for the Northern District of California. On July 26th, 2002, the United States Senate confirmed Mr. Ryan's nomination, and on July 31, 2002, President Bush appointed Mr. Ryan as th 48th United States Attorney for the Northern District of California.
