Feinstein Statement on Nomination of Dr. Steven Chu to be Secretary of Energy
Washington, DC – U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) today made the following statement about the nomination of Dr. Steven Chu to serve as Secretary of Energy:
“I know Steven Chu,” Senator Feinstein said. “There is no one brighter or better equipped to become Secretary of Energy at this critical time, when we must tackle the major challenges of global warming, energy security, and a reassessment of our nation’s nuclear posture.”
